There have many academic spin-off companies set up over the past decade to exploit
fundamental research in formal methods. Very few of these companies have survived,
and even fewer have made significant profits. 
In this paper, as co-founder and director of one of such company, I will give a 
brief history of the company, and discuss the challenges and opportunities 
involved.
